ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Holly

PUTTING MY WORK ETHIC INTO PRACTICE

A THRIVING CAREER

After college, I put my degree to work by becoming a teacher for Jefferson County Schools and have been employed for the last 16 years.

While working full time, I opened a local business that many of you in the community have seen me working hard at on my time off from the school day. It always brings a smile to my student's faces when they see me in the shop.

I am also a former member of the Citizen's Fire Department where I assisted with fundraisers and social events. I have been able to accomplish all of this while being a dedicated mother to my two young children.

WHERE I COME FROM

I was born and raised right here in Jefferson County West Virginia. While attending high school and college, I worked as a clerk for the Jefferson County Magistrate Court as well as a legal assistant for two county attorneys. While attending Jefferson High School I received the McCormick Scholarship and attended Shepherd College (now University). I was able to maintain the required 3.0 or above G.P.A. to maintain my scholarship while holding down 3 different jobs.

MY WHY

Being a lifelong resident of Jefferson County, I have a deep love for our area. I have always had passion for the legal system. While working for the court system while attending school, I had always dreamed of making my way back.  Running for Magistrate will allow me to indulge in my passion, come full circle on my dream, and serve the county I love so much!
